Muay Thai

A dynamic and powerful martial art from Thailand, often called “The Art of Eight Limbs.” It uses punches, kicks, elbows, and knees to create a striking system that builds real-world self-defense skills while improving focus, fitness, and mental toughness. Known for its intensity and effectiveness, Muay Thai is also a great way to develop discipline and confidence.

 

At Wheaton’s Martial Arts, Muay Thai classes are open to all levels and taught in a supportive, structured environment. Whether you’re new to martial arts or looking to sharpen your skills, our coaches meet you where you are. Classes focus on technique, conditioning, and controlled sparring, helping students build strength and confidence at their own pace.

Classes:

  • Beginners: Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 6:00 PM – 6:45 PM

  • Advanced: Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 6:50 PM – 8:30 PM

  • Sparring: Tuesday & Thursday @

    • Session 1: 6:05 PM – 7:05 PM

    • Session 2: 7:10 PM – 8:40 PM

     

Tae Kwon Do

A Korean martial art known for its fast, high kicks and powerful striking techniques. It emphasizes agility, flexibility, and precision, while also instilling values like respect, focus, and perseverance. With its roots in both self-defense and sport, Taekwondo offers a full-body workout that builds strength, coordination, and confidence.

 

At Wheaton’s Martial Arts, Taekwondo is at the heart of our program. Classes are grouped by skill level, beginner, intermediate, and advanced, so students can grow at the right pace. Whether you’re just starting out or working toward your next belt, you’ll find clear instruction, positive motivation, and a strong sense of community in every class.

  • Intermediate/Advanced: Monday, Wednesday, Friday @ 5:00 PM – 5:50 PM

  • Sparring: Tuesday & Thursday @ 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
